Really felt like I needed to get that depressing entry off my page, as I've finally gotten back to drawing for pleasure and not for grades.

Nothing really finished yet, but it will be soon. I have to get a bunch of stuff ready for Granite State comic con in a couple of weeks, so I have a bit of a deadline. Leave it to me to wait a couple of months before taking out my pencil. From now on if I get a table at a con I'm readying myself a year in advance.

Not having any schoolwork for months is a good feeling. I threw out so many of my assignments, I couldn't stand to look at a lot of them. Most were done just so I wouldn't fail. I had to sacrifice a lot of my energy to draw things I really didn't want to draw, and I can finally go back to what I love again. I felt as though I might have regressed rather than progressed since I didn't get much practice in the past couple of months. So now it's crunch time, I'm ready to work harder than I have in a while.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go work on getting better at hard on Guitar Hero 3. That's murder.
